Oreo Brownie Cupcakes

Oreo Brownie CupcakesI don’t post a bunch of baked goods to the site as I’m not much of a baker.  That said, the recent plateau of 40,000 visitors to this site (thank you to all of you) calls for celebration and a celebration needs dessert! Don’t let the relative ease of this deter you, these things are seriously yummy and easy to make in quantity for a party or just a few for the family.  I know just writing this that I’m going to crave them all over again today. Easy recipe and directions to follow!  Enjoy!

  • 1 package of your favorite brownie mix (we used Ghirardelli)
  • 1 package Oreo Cookies
  • 1 jar of your favorite Peanut Butter

That’s it kids, it’s that easy.

Preheat oven to 350.

Begin by topping one Oreo with a swipe of peanut butter and top with another, you can choose whether or not to add another layer of peanut butter to the top of the 2nd cookie.

Place in the bottom of a cupcake pan (the use of liners is optional. Prepare your brownie batter according to the instructions.  Pour brownie batter over the cookies until just covered.

Place in the oven and bake.  Keep in mind that since the brownie batter isn’t that thick, it won’t likely have to bake as long as you typically would, so check them often.

Remove from oven and insert in your face, your face will be happy, you’ll be able to tell by the big smile!
